Summer Camp Manager
Seasonal position July 2 – Aug 29th 2025 - 35 hrs/ week
As the BBKCC Summer Camp Manager you would oversee the daily operations of our summer camp, ensuring the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of campers. This role involves a range of responsibilities, including program planning, staff management, and day to day camp operations.
Duties include:
Venue preparation: Ensuring the camp facilities are ready and safe for campers and staff.
Communication: Keeping lines of communication open with staff, campers, and parents.
Supervision and safety: Ensuring the safety and well-being of campers during all activities.
Program implementation: Implementing and overseeing the daily camp program, including activities and guests.
Issue resolution: Addressing any issues or concerns that may arise during the camp.
Record keeping: Maintaining accurate records of camper attendance, incidents, and other relevant information.
Camp environment: Ensuring the camp environment is clean, organized, and safe.
Risk assessment: Conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring appropriate safety measures are in place.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, display strong organizational and analytical skills, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience in summer camp or camp management an asset.

Summer Camp Councillor
Seasonal position - June 30th – August 29 2025- 35 hrs/week
Qualifications:
Student under the age of 30 returning to a post secondary institution in Fall 2025
Criminal Record and Child abuse registry checks
First Aid certification
Job Description:
Camp Councillors are responsible for the well-being and safety of campers, ensuring a fun and engaging camp experience. Councillors will plan and lead activities as well as provide guidance and support to children. Councillors plan, organize, and lead various camp activities, including recreational, educational, and outdoor programs.
