Notice of Annual General Meeting of Members
Take notice that the Annual General Meeting of members of the Beaver Bank Kinsac Community
Centre Association will be held at Harold T. Barrett Junior High School, 862 Beaver Bank Road, Beaver
Bank, Nova Scotia, on Thursday June 24, 2010 at 7:00 pm for the purpose of:
a) Receiving of minutes of the preceding general meeting;
b) Consideration of the annual reports of Directors and Officers;
c) Consideration of the annual financial statements and the report of the External Accountant thereon;
d) Consideration of the budget for the ensuing year;
e) Election of Directors for the ensuing year;
f) Election of the Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer and Secretary;
g) Appointment of the External Accountant;
h) Transacting such other business as may properly come before the meeting.

By-Law Amendments
The Board of Directors of Beaver Bank Kinsac Community Centre proposes that the following changes to the Association’s By Laws be ratified at the Annual General Meeting of June 24, 2010.
Article V – Section 3 – Officers
Current:
There shall be five elected officers that make up the Executive Committee, these being, the Chair, the Vice Chair, the Past Chair, the Secretary, and the Treasurer.
Proposed:
There shall be six elected officers that make up the Executive Committee, these being, the Chair, the Vice Chair, the Past Chair, the Secretary, the Treasurer and the Bar Manager.
Article V - Section 9 – Terms of Office -sub-section (f)
Current:
None
Proposed:
If the present slate of officers are re-elected, their term of office be extended until the first Annual General Meeting held after the rebuild of the new facility is completed.
