At Carr Taekwon-Do, we teach the true original form of Taekwon-Do, created by the founder, Gen. Choi hong Hi. Students will learn the Korean Art of Self Defense including sparring, patterns, breaking, theory, defensive techniques for the street, awareness and social development.
We live by our Tenets of Taekwon-Do:
Courtesy   Integrity   Perseverance   Self-Control   Indomitable Spirit
This is closely monitored by Mr. Carr and must be proven that a student has used these qualities before each belt examination.
Mr. Robert Carr is the owner and Head Instructor, certified 5th Degree Black Belt, with over 24 years exp in Martial Arts. He is a certified International Instructor and Examiner, and the dojang (TKD school) is a registered member with the International Ch'ang Hon Taekwon-Do Federation.
Our focus in class in not for competition, however for the true nature of Taekwon-Do- "To develop a more peaceful world".
We do compete though, and have been very successful from Local to International Levels of Tournament. This is done in a seperate class from regular class.
