Tuesday
Drop in Zumba
– 7PM ages 12+ $6 (punch cards available)
Keener’s Cribbage – 1-4PM
Fire Station open from 7-8PM for Civic signs, questions etc.

Wednesday
Keener’s Fitness – 10am-11am $3

Men’s Basketball – HTB school 8-10PM $2 full schedule &cancellations at www.bbkcc.ca/bball

Friday
Parent/Tot drop in-
9:30-11:30am, all welcome!
Kid’s Floor Hockey – BBK School – ages 6-12 – $2 full schedule and cancellations at www.bbkcc.ca/ballhockey *Helmets Mandatory*

On the first Friday of the month drop into the community hub from 2-4PM for open office hours with our Councillor, Lisa Blackburn!

Saturday
Drop in Zumba
– 9:30-10:30am ages 12+ $6

Recreation Program Assistant

1 Position
35hours/week
$11.00/hour

Qualifications:
Student under the age of 30 returning to a post secondary institution in Fall 2018
Criminal Record and Child abuse registry checks
First Aid

Job Description:
The Recreation Program Assistant will help with planning and organizing activities related to recreation, sport physical activity, arts, culture and education.  They will supervise and work directly with children  as well as work directly with youth and seniors.  They will be responsible to help ensure a safe program environment.  You will require excellent customer service, time management and interpersonal skills.

Required skills:

  • Ability to think creatively and adapt to an ever changing environment.
  • General administrative duties.
  • Experience with MS Office.
  • Customer Service experience..
  • Experience organizing and/or managing programs.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with event organization and management an asset.

Job Description: The Program Administrator will handle general administrative duties in relation to summer programs, events and activities at the BBKCC. This will include creating program registration forms and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and in full for program participants, and developing guideline manuals for instructors. The Program Administrator will also be responsible for issuing and following up on program invoices and handling email and public inquiries. The Program Administrator is also required to assist with event organization and management.

 

Required skills:
  • General administrative duties.
  • Experience with MS Office.
  • Customer Service experience: handling public inquiries.
  • Experience in an office environment is preferable.
  • Experience organizing and/or managing programs.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with event organization and management an asset.
